The Role


As a Tech Product Owner at C-MORE, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and success of our product by working closely with the business team, development team, QA team, and top management. You will ensure alignment with the product roadmap, business priorities, and client needs. Acting as the primary point of contact for the product’s needs, you’ll also own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring the team delivers maximum value.

This role demands deep product knowledge, proactive team training, and effective communication to maintain high product quality and foster collaboration.


Your Main Responsibilities


Product Vision & Strategy


  • Align with our CPO to implement and communicate the product vision, ensuring alignment with C-MORE’s goals and customer needs to the Dev Team and QA Team.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, sustainability challenges, and competitor insights to guide product innovation.


Backlog Management


  • Own and prioritize the product backlog to deliver high-value features and improvements.
  • Break down complex initiatives into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.


Collaboration & Communication


  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, customers, and the development team.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless execution of the product roadmap.


Customer & Team Engagement


  • Train the team to ensure deep product knowledge and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Ensure the creation and continuous update of product documentation.
  • Engage with customers and end-users to gather feedback, validate concepts, and identify pain points.


Delivery Oversight


  • Plan sprints and ensure smooth delivery.
  • Act as the primary decision-maker during sprint planning, review, and retrospective sessions.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure product success and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to measure product development quality and progress.
  • Create and delegate issues to the development team based on the product roadmap and business priorities.
  • Provide daily reports on product development progress and priorities.
  • Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress. Provide regular updates and escalate issues to management as necessary.


Risk Management & Support


  • Proactively identify potential risks and collaborate with teams to mitigate them.
  • Support the development team by removing impediments or obstacles that block progress.


Process Improvement


  • Foster collaboration and self-organization within the team.
  • Implement continuous improvement in processes, teamwork, and delivery.


Your Qualifications/Experience


Education

  • Degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field


Experience

  • 3+ years of proven experience within enterprise IT environments, building web technology-based products, preferably in startups.
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in an Agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).


Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills, including the ability to navigate effectively in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Ability to balance technical knowledge with business acumen.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with tools like GitLab, Jira, or similar project management platforms.
  • Ability to handle tight deadlines - so good sense of priority and urgency.


Soft Skills

  • Passion for sustainability and making a positive impact.
  • Team player with a proactive, self-driven attitude.
  • Comfort working in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.


Language Skills

  • Fluent in English.


Bonus Points

  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification (optional but preferred).
  • Experience in SaaS or sustainability-related products.
