We're looking for an Accountant to ensure the timely and accurate organization of our accounting records.


Role Overview

As an Accountant, you will take full ownership of the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and compliance. Your role will be essential in managing invoice registration, reconciling financial transactions, and supporting the Finance Lead with critical monthly reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize accounting records, including registers, ledgers, journals, and individual accounts.

• Reconcile financial transactions, verify source documents (invoices, expense vouchers), and ensure accurate record-keeping.

• Conduct internal audits as required and support external audit processes

• Manage monthly payroll processing.

• Handle VAT clearance, including monthly VAT calculations and submissions

• Prepare and submit PT2030 refund applications.

• Assist in closing monthly accounts with precision and attention to detail.

• Perform other essential accounting tasks as needed to ensure financial accuracy and compliance

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accountant (3–4 years in Accounting or Bookkeeping preferred).

• Proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.

• Hands-on experience with VAT clearance and IES submission.

• Demonstrated expertise in handling PT2030 refund applications.

• Strong knowledge of monthly payroll processes.

• Certified accountant
